Post I think to you Heymikey.

I am shocked and concerned about the death message of HEYMIKEY. He wrote to me once that he has started about my Bonsaivirtuals to make Bonsaivirtuals. I think to you Heymikey.

Karl,

I know about this.

We had this contest about making virtuals for the trees Kimura was going to style last spring. Heymikey won three out of six contests if I remember correctly. I have made a link to this site here on the German forum. Heymikey was very well known for his most outstanding virtuals also in the German bonsai community.

We will remember him.

Wow, what terribly sad news.

I have been away for a few days, and just started to catch up with the latest threads.

I am in shock with this news.

Although I have never really "talked" with him directly on a regular basis, I always saw his posts as witty, constructive and without any hint of malice. You can normally judge quite accurately ones personality, even over the internet. The pages of posts before me stand as testiment to how we ALL formed the same opinion on how "heymikey" became a leading and integral part of the community.

He was nothing short of an inspiration to the Bonsai world and he will be sorely missed.

Sincere condolances to his family.

May the heavens above be filled with "Little Trees" in need of some TLC.

With deepest sorrow,
Ian.

I just read the news. This is terrible, he will be sorely missed. One of the true masters of virtuals.

I never saw any of those pics that Matt posted, (thanks Matt) guess I need to visit the humor section more often. What a sense of humor!!!

Words of solace!

A leaf has slipped quietly from our bonsai creation but the winter silhouette remains strong and beautiful and the tree will always reflect his touch and hold the promise of a much better spring! My condolences to Mike's loved ones and to our bonsai family...

My condolences to his family. This is a difficult time for any family and I ask you pass on to them that courage is often no more than the ability to keep going ahead.
