HeyMikey! I will sorely miss you. What a great sense of humor. You might be called a sensei of humor. Some of my happiest times on the web were reading your posts and PMs. I hope I can keep the lessons I have learned from you.

Guess in a way I am kind of lucky. He morfed (sp) me into a tree a couple of years ago.

I think that picture is a keeper.

I can only echo the thoughts of everyone above... I'm glad to have experienced his presence here and on the IBC.

To echo everyone else. My special memory is the recent very constructive discussion we had over his virtuals for my black pine in Formal Displays.

Mikey, thank you for your kindness, talent and help. I will miss you.

In honor of HeyMickey, I've redone my avatar from his virtual of my corkbark pine exhibited at WBFF.

Like everyone here I am really shocked and saddened by the news of Heymikey's passing. He always seemed very upbeat and jovial, never having a bad word to say about anyone. I will really miss his posts. A great loss to this forum and to bonsai as a whole. My sincere condolences go out to his family.

If by chance Mikey's family members should happen to come across this forum in the future, I hope that they will take some small comfort in the fact that many people from across the world, who didn't even have to meet him in person - will miss him, and appreciate greatly the input he made and will continue to make as newcomers come to read his posts in the archives, on the subject that he loved so dearly.

May his trees live on as testament to a very human being.

Rest in peace.

Aaron

HeyMikey has been the closest thing I've had to a role model when dealing with the issues and personalities on this Forum. We'll miss you mate.
