DON'T POST QUESTIONS ABOUT THE DRAWING IN THIS THREAD - START ANOTHER OR PM ME! On May 1, 2006 in the (GMT zone), I will visit the website where the random number of the day has been posted, and the drawing will proceed for the winner of the prize for the user who voted on all entries! I won't be validating each of the entrants in this thread, which would take hours, but I will instead validate the actual winner to be sure that s/he is eligible. In the event that person is ineligible, we'll chose again tomorrow and so forth OK! here's how it works if for example we have 64 posts in this thread Random Number Site URL: http://www.techzoom.net/security-random.asp Suppose the Random number for May 1 2006 is 9674-9936-5480-6795 We take the last 4 digits 6795, and do a modulo function with the number of entrants: mod (64+1) = 35, so the 35th poster in this thread would win if he or she was validated as meeting the voting requirement. modulo is the integer remainder when 6795 is divided by 65 is 35.
