Just talked to Wayne from Stone Lantern...and asked him about the illustrations question. He says that as long as the resolution is good, the illustrations (drawings, not photos of course) should be all right. He mentioned 300 dpi as being acceptable.

And he's enthused about the contest!! Looking forward to reading some of the articles!

got one just about ready to send plus another one i can hopefully develop prior to the deadline, so at least half way to the minumum required for the contest to fly

Here's a reminder when you mail your articles, please include

1. the release statement from the submissions instructions
2. your forum user name
3. if you're in the running for a prize, include your mailing address. This step is optional, but it sure speeds things up having everything in one place.

We have EIGHT articles now, with about two weeks to go. If you are working on an article, please pm me if there is anything that would help you, or if you have any questions. I would like to hear from those of you who are seriously working on one but haven't submitted it yet, just to get a head count. But remember -- PRIVATE MESSAGE-- let's not tell the forum what you are writing about!

This is going to be an awesome contest.
