GSBF Grape Dig !!!
One of the highlights of the Gsbf Convention was "grape dig". These are 100 or more years old grapevines that was planted long before i was born. With the increasing numbers of commercial buildings, malls and townhouses etc. Majority of the winery in this area quit the business and sold thier property for more money. The "grape dig" area was located underneath power lines and thats how come they were speard of the ever expanding commercial project. Our experienced collectors John Thompson, Doug Philips, and Joel Pasco leads us an all day outing collecting over 100 year old grapevines. I'm glad i went although it was very tiring but the payoff is well worth the effort. Got my 10 tree limit and i was dead tired. What a blast !!!

Look like you had a great time.
Look at those grapes! Wish I could have gone. Maybe one day I will get to the GSBF Convention. Thanks for sharing. -Paul
