New Area - "Your Bonsai Club"
bonsaiTALK has opened a new area for discussion: "Your Bonsai Club," under the "Clubs in Action" section of the bonsaiTALK forum.
This area is for discussion of bonsai clubs, associations and societies. Share your bonsai club's activites, challenges and acomplishments. You can ask about or discuss organization challenges, like how to make things happen in an all-volunteer group or raising funds. Share plans for fun and educational activies to keep meetings interesting for new and old members alike. Spread the word about upcoming events. Talk about visiting guests or a demo that went well (or maybe the one that didn't). Ask about finding local clubs, or find a club to visit when you travel. Share funny stories, club histories and triumphs -- or anything else about your club. Please remember, there is a separate area for posting pictures of club shows: Bonsai Shows, Events & Tours pootsie |

Hi Pootsie & All,
Just bumping up this thread now that Matt has had chance to introduce this section to the main menu. If any of you are involved in a local club, this will be the ideal way to help promote your activities, attract new members, or communicate between existing ones, particularly if you have yet to develop your own web-site. Enjoy this additional feature of bonsaiTalk, the site that like our little trees -should always remain healthy and keep growing. Best Regards, Ian. |

I've moved the shows forum down here, too so we can keep everything together. I think people should feel free to post their shows in here if they like and we can move them to the Bonsai Shows area for archival purposes. Regards, Matt
