Lost Thread, second attempt

I thought this was posted but couldn't find it Sorry if it is a repeat.

Last weekend the Redding Bonsai Club had its annual show. We are a dinky group of mostly novices and are without a sensei. But we have fun and are very dedicated to bonsai.

I was coerced into doing the sunday demo. One of the other members (Diane) and I brainstormed this olive saikei. We made a template on paper of the pot and used foam to decide tree placement. It really took a lot of the pressure off to have a plan going in. It is my first attempt at saikei.

It took an hour and a half for the two of us to get the deed done. There were about 20 people watching and all of them stayed and asked lots of questions. I'm going to call it a success.

I am allready worrying about what to do next year. I am hoping we can afford paying for outside talent.

G'day Carmen...

Try "Least of Four Evils" in the Show and Tell Forum.

Have a good day...

Pat
