KS or MO clubs?
Hello there I am new to the site and new to Bonsai in general, I would really like to meet more people that are into this hobby as well. I am currently living in Missouri but am planning to be moving out of state in a few years to live with the BF in Lenexa, KS so even right now I do a lot of traveling back and forth...so I would be very interested to find out anything I can about active clubs in the MO and KS areas if at all possible thanks!

Kala, the Bonsai Society of Greater Kansas City has an active program of workshops, Master's Weekends, and public displays. With 119 members, its one of the larger clubs in the area. Visitors are welcome, so plan on joining us for a meeting soon. You'll find our calendar of activities at www.BonsaiSocietyofGKC.org and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at bshort@sprintmail.com

I plan to attend another meeting with the midwest club in September I hate the fact I missed the last meeting in June but I have been taking summer school classes. and that has annnoyingly beent taking up more time then I would really be liking it to.
If anyone is in the club and lives here localy I could use some help on a project, I want to find a Japanese Cherry Bollsom Bonsai Tree, as well as Japanese Cedar and I am wondering if I will be able to find them in Columbia or if I could try to work with some of the specality Bonsai Stores (maybe some of the ones out of St.Louis to look for these specific kinds) Any help would be wonderful I hope to be adding some lovely new Bonsai to my collection soon! |
