Thumbs up Joint club Dig!

Hey everybody!
Thought I would share some of the pics that I took this weekend at our joint clubs dig!
This is the San Antonio and Austin Bonsai clubs of Texas.
We had hills and bottomland, riverbeds and rock climbing.
Hope you enjoy!
Irene

Irene, thanks for sharing. Up here in Vermont we just received over 4 feet of snow this past week. Hard to think about collecting... but it's nice to see someone who is!!

Suggestion, when you take the pictures of the collected trees could you place something along side for scale, a soda can... cell phone... or ruler. It helps in 'seeing' the tree. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks again
Jay

Thumbs up

Groan....I am too old for this every weekend dig!

But today I got to meet a fellow BT'er!
And that I find one of the great things to do!!!
His online name is Tincan....
I was running late and he called and we hurried as fast as we could out to the dig site!
He brought a buddy with him for the dig and were already digging and had 1 to show when we got there.
He's got a real good eye for finding some good stuff!!!
By Noon he had 9 New Trees! And man are they some awesome ones!
I do believe his friend will join the club as well as him....
In a years time these trees will be a sight to behold....
Irene

Opinion Club dig

Irene, I have never participated in a club dig, but I wished I had. I have only done it myself and that being slim....A live oak formal upright and clump style. Again the stuff you dug from the wild is very impressive. As always, have a good day. Your friend...Concorde
