bonsaiTALK Hint: Did you know you can double click any bonsai term on this page for its definition?

Thanks Scott! I like the pyracantha too. I am envious, I cut off all my bloom wood this year. I had a good crop of berries last year but during early pruning I had to sacrifice blooms to keep my shape.

This year I will cut hard next month and should have a good bloom that I wll be able to keep.

Some nice trees and it looks like you are catching some good exhibits this year. Maybe I will see ya in a couple months at Boon's exhibit, or in a couple weeks at the convetion.

Cheers, Al

Bruce & Greg, you're more than welcome.

Al,
Will most likely see you at the BIB show instead of the GSBF shindig in Sacramento. Lots of good artists will be there, but the weekend is a bad one for me. Glad you liked the Pyracantha.

As promised, some pics from the demo on Saturday. This is a Japanese Black Pine grown from seed that Johnny started. Twin trunk style, he did some basic shaping at a young age with teh two trunks.

as you can see in picture 43127, lots of information was given as the demo continued...it was a nice tree, and the guy who won it was lucky to own such a nice tree.
