In January 2009 Bonsaiboon will hold it's 10th anniversary exhibit. This will undoubtedly be the most comprehensive exhibit to date. This will be an exhibit not to be missed.

I will be there!

Al

Gday Al & Co!

Very informative and entertaining thread - as we've come to expect from our resident Allium grower.

I recently purchased a nursery Trident that only had 2 things going for it: girth (70mm/~3") and price ($20AUD). The 'nebari' consists of 2 massive roots that form an upside-down Y with the trunk. The majority of the 600mm (~2') trunk is straight and featureless, save for the top where a past trunk-chop has created a number of sizable branches. Come Spring (Aug/Sep), I'll be referring to this thread for ideas on how to turn this mongrel into a Keppleresque masterpiece. Is it too early to start massaging my onions?

Thanks.

Fly.

Thought you'd never ask! Sorry about the pics - it's a very gloomy day here in the hills.

Thanks.
