Thanks Rips,
It would have made me a bit nervous to watch someone work so quickly on my tree, even if I knew that they knew what they were doing.
I like your tree from this angle but it looks good from the angle in the first two pics too. Can you show us a close shot from the first angle?
Looking forward to seeing the second tree.

This is a very nice tree, rip. Did you grow this from a cutting?

To me it looks a bit cramped in this pot.

Glenn, very nice tree. I think in no time you will be real happy with this guy. Question, how big is this tree? With the pot being 4x6 you get an idea but... Also How tall was it before the chop? How much of the tree was removed?

Could you take a picture of this tree next to one that has been unstyled (uncut), just for reference! I know two trees are never the same, but with the amount of trees you have at your command there might be another in the same ball park.

Again.....N I C E tree!

Shohin Olive

Thank you all for your kind comments.
The wonderful thing is that there are many more olive trees to come.
I will post pictures as the trees are develiped.

Thanks Glenn,

This thread caught me because I obtained an olive at auction and it's in training. Yours is very nice! Good visual on pruning. Send more on olives if you do them. It's very helpful!

Rips,

That's a nice sequence. You must be proud of your efforts with field growing. I am sure this semi-sumo ( ) will look stunning in the future.

A nice bright big macro shot of it would be nice.

Regards,

Chris.
