Where is Persimmon Hill, please? I'd drive a couple of hours to hear Kathy Shaner. Rarely have I learned as much from any bonsai teacher.

Kathy Shaner

There is not a much better teacher anywhere-I can attend this year-I am teaching sculpture classes in my studio on Saturdays- but I will make a trip up on Friday afternoon to say hi-Kathy is always doing something one can learn from.

Hi Jorge. Who is having this seminar? Is it open to the public? I was wondering where, and when is going to be, Larry.

Look forward to meeting you as well Jorge!

Larry, the seminar is being hosted by Persimmon Hill Bonsai Studio (Terry and Sheila Ward) and will take place this next Saturday and Sunday here in Austin at a local Comfort Suites hotel. Registration is a mere $100 (+ $45 if you want to take the additional Sunday afternoon workshop which happens after the seminar finishes at noon). It may be full by now but if you PM me I will give you Terry's contact info. That goes for anyone else who is interested. Better hurry though!

OK, I'm going too. See you all there. All I have to do is choose trees.
