What are you gonna use for a new pot?
Flex

Thanks, Flex. Good to meet you as well. I will make said change as soon as the Ark passes by and lands on Ararat. The rain has been coming down by the bucket loads since I left.

As far as a pot, I'm thinking I'm goin' to make a drum for it. We'll see what next year brings. I will post shots when the sun comes back out...

Great to meet you Flex. I say we all stay in touch. I want to see how your honeysuckle develops, William's tree develops as he removes the lower branch and puts it in a pot, Rich's Plan B, Ian's pine...

I'm pretty thankfulfor this rain today..giving my juniper some R&R without the stress of the sun. I ordered two drill bits from Tom before I left so once they come in I'll be heading back up there for some carving discussions and hands on work...lets the chips fly!

I can't believe it...day 3 with Hans and I think we finally wore him out Came back inside just before midnight with another all day session. Unfortunately we have to release Hans from bonsai servitude tomorrow....Thanks Hans for a incredible 3 days. The knowledge, patience, and humor you passed on will be treasured.

Thanks to all that came it was a terrific time ..... I decided to do a photo album instead of eating up space here and will post the link as soon as I am finished for those that wanted to see what type of beer was served and the work that went on.

What a real buzz for all involved and I am looking forward to viewing the album. At last the two Yew Men get together and in a big way.

Hey! Hans do they sell Heinekin where you were or did you have to settle for the local brews? Mind you I quite like the American beers.

Tom (Silverbeard bleached by Sun) you must be tired but happy in the knowledge that you pulled off a fitting ending to this genius's first visit in the Americas. Many thanks for sharing this tremendous occasion with the bonsai world.

Kicking a man of that size anywhere would be nothing less than an act of god.

Hans departed yesterday, and if my guess is right he will sleep for a week. Out of 72 hours he worked 55 of them only stopping for meals and then passing out from exhaustion. Notice the vacant stares at the dinner table.

I don't know about any of y'all but the one with the "vacant" stare happens to be the one with the demented look holdin a bottle of hotsauce. I feel fear for the other 3
