Well you finally had me deciding a yew might be a fun project and its a spectacular sight to see Hans (who i personally believe to be one of the finest artists when it comes to yews) working on the tree that inspired my change of heart (the twin trunk in the first two pics).... a magnificent sight... thank you for sharing.... I am only sorry that I missed the chance to hang out with him when he was in the neighborhood.

Ang, couldn't resist the opportunity after your post to show you this other yew that Hans and Rich were working on. He has a true gift when it comes to design, especially when it comes to yews. Will post some more pictures of the completed tree tomorrow, as completion may take a while ...... its a big'n

Glad to hear that your well on your way to converting to yewdism!

Fantastic stuff, can't wait for more pics Tom.

Considering the extensive work you've done collecting yews and Hans' extensive work on them it sounds like a match in heaven.

I'll bet you learned lots! And maybe Hans walked away with some knowledge too!
