Formal Bonsai Education

I am finally able to continue my education with Boon! After missing a couple of years, it's going to be a stretch, but I am so excited about the exhibit this year. Learning what really goes into a formal exhibit like those staged in Japan is a real eye-opener. I know there are a lot of great exhibits around the country, but having the opportunity to work on fantastic trees and prepare them for this great show is a huge opportunity.

I hope to post some photos when I get back!

Way to go Chris! Have fun and learn a lot. Looking forward to reports and photos from you.

You're not going to dress as a pirate are you? I always get a chuckle at your avatar.

Hope to meet all of you as well. Mike P. and I have displayed together before. I will hope to get Mike aside for some pointers on photography. I will be there Sat in the AM. After my bonsai exhibit fix I will be heading over to Johnny Uchida's place to see if there is anything I can't do without.

Cheers, Al
