Hello,

This is looking like it might be alot of fun. Aside from the "live chat" do the students need to be online at certain times of the day?I may of missed this info,is there a deadline date for joining?,also will we need any high speed internet connections for this?

Hi RedPine

Being that there are people from all over the world, most of the discussion is forum based. There are also different project modules to upload assignments and so forth, but they don't require high speed Internet access.

I'll be holding off on the deadlines and new materials somewhat until we get our 10-12 target enrollment.

If we do have a live chat or two I am sure we won't be able to accomodate everyone's schedule but it might be fun to try.

Regards,

Matt

Matt,

I understand this course is already under way. I am VERY much interested in participating in the next one. Do you have any idea when that might be?
Also, I have experienced problems in the past with Paypal, because my credit card is not US based. Is there any other way to make payment?

Thanks in advance

i would very much be interested in classes as i'm new to bonsais before i got a plant to make into bonsai i first started one from a cutting and kept it alive in the pot for a year, i have very little knowledge on styling and training i'm starting out with serrisas and will probably have some questions that will seem dumb but thats the only way i wil learn

Hi slordaz,

For topics related to horticulture - that is, keeping things alive and thriving - it's hard to beat a local bonsai club for hands-on help. You should be able to find one in the wiki under clubs
