bonsaiTALK Hint: Did you know you can double click any bonsai term on this page for its definition?

Posted a 4 because 3 isn't enough, but I try to keep learning, and discovering.

Ian, shouldn't your posts be preceded by the Dah da Dah music so deserving of any super hero?

I am well beyond stage 5, into stage 11 or so. Bonsai is kind of like an extremely bad rash that I can't stop scratching.

Errrm . . . this may be too personal, but have you sprouted any new foliage lately?

John, are you going to saranade her whilst playing a homemade instrument, to lull her away from the register as he pays Hitoshi. LOL Or do you have Ians super powers too.

Hoping to get down for one of your classes , sooner than later.

I've been "doing" bonsai for almost 4 years now and I almost put myself in stage 2, but after almost killing my jade this past week by overzealous watering, I bumped myself back down to stage 1.

I probably won't be up to stage two for a while because I'm finishing up my undergraduate degree, so will be moving around for many years to come (grad school, etc...) I'm just hoping to keep the trees I have now alive until I settle down and can really get started on bonsai.

Great thread.

I love this, bonsai isn't all one way. Every now and again we all slip up, but when you get into the latter stages you get better at hiding the evidence!
