Print screen button will give you a screen shot. I don't know what you use for graphics manipulation, however these are the steps. Open the program (like MS Paint), go to the screen you want a shot of and press the Print Screen button, go back to Paint (or whatever program you are using) and paste the image either by going to Edit - Paste, or pressing Control V. Hope this helps

well, none of that has worked to get a screen shot, but it could be pilot error.

I just finally DL'd this app. and played around with it a bit, added 2 trees, then pictures , then accidentally deleted both images,...it was showing each twice with the tree info, same pic.
AnyhowI got this not as a result of having too many trees to keep up with (I have about 10 plants, maybe 3-4 potensai) but as an attempt to take my work more seriously and really focus on creating some nice bonsai.
BTW, is there a place to save links, or care sheets for species?
Also, thanks for creating this software, looks like it's going to be a real nice tool.
Jeremy

Yes, it may look weird but it is a feature. When you ask for a tree history, it displays first on the top of the page a short summary with the picture which is considered to be the most representative of the tree (if you do nothing, it will be the last one, but you may choose any), and then, the different pictures pertaining to this tree in chronological order. If you have only one pic per tree, yes, it is maybe not very useful, but if you have more, it is nice, well at least this is what I feel .

The care sheet functionnality is almost finished. Works goes on very slowly because I have spend all my holidays working on my house and when I stop I am usually to tired to program.

lanig,

I like what you have done so far. i have started to add a couple of trees into your application, very easy to use.

I have also added some photos, and the photo history works very well, cool idea.

How are the care sheets coming on?

Hi,

Sorry for not responding before.
Yes, care sheets are done. If you follow the instructions of the source forge site, you can get the source by cvs and build it by yourself.
I work a little but each week.
Other improvments are:
-debugged pot management,
-Multiple pic insert at the same time
-optimisation of lengthy tasks for multicore/multi cpu computers,
-management of tree, pictures, event types.

Regards,

Alain

Hi,

i wish i was able to do it myself! I had a look at the cvs and didn't even know what i was looking at! Hats off to you for putting in a lot of your personal time in and making this freely available for the rest of us ignorant surfers.

I am sure that many others also appreciate the work that has been put into this over the years.

Luke
