Trident Maple Cuttings
hi, a uy at the irt club meating was trimming a trident, and gav me some of the cuttin, i know it isn't the right time of year, but how would i o about getting them to root?

You would need some rooting hormone (you don't need it but it helps allot) and it should be still green, real fleshy, I assume it was cut at a node, Well, what I do is get rock wool and put them in there in a real shallow tray to keep them moist. Put them in something that is really humid. And of corse light. Some Willows I did in this fashion, they grew, 2 died but 5 lived.
