Starteing New Junipers

Ok i have a qusetion..How to i start new junipers from cuttings of a branch? I used powder reroot and still no roots any advice?PLz help..I want to reroot me japanese juniper from cloneing it with a branch

Keeping the cuttings covered with clear plastic seems to help. This year, I'm batting a 1000 on my juniper cuttings.

If the branch is thick, you'll want to air layer them.

Hello

Well the secret of cuttings is using the minimal root hormone compound. Yes! if you overuse this thing will make that a hundred of little roots develop in a spot and they will collapse with themselves. I have rooted many cuttings without root promoting hormone, including junipers.

The trick is that the cutting should not be so ramificated and have them in shade until new growth apears.
