Shimpaku Cuttings

About 4 months ago I took several Shimpaku cuttings. I dipped them in rooting hormone and have kept them moist. They are very green and have even put on new growth. I just checked them today; however; they have not rooted. Any ideas? I did not know the cutting would grow without rooting.

Just let them be. Shimpaku cuttings root close to 100% of the time. Don't bother them and don't let them freeze too hard this winter. As long as they are putting on new growth, you will be just fine.
