I am relatively new to this, but would like to start growing some seeds for future use. *Does anyone know of a good place to order from?

Re: seeds?

I think there are some suppliers listed in the bonsaiTALK Links section. Look under Suppliers -> seeds

Others may have some more specific recommendations. You'll also want to read some of the information there and on the link at the bottom of that page (Techniques Propagation Seed)

Keep in mind that there aren't any bonsai seeds, just like there really isn't "origami paper." It's all just material to use as you will.

Regards,

Matt

Re: seeds?

I've heard the USDA has a pamphlet on Bonsai. *Any ideas on how I can get one?

I write a column for a local paper and might discuss this outrage. *How is it that the USDA is spending our tax money on Bonsai? *

I'm just getting started in Bonsai and prefer to think this art form is for those who prefer to learn from the artists involved rather than the government. *Can't we do anything without the bureaucrats getting involved?
