Pine Cuttings?
How well does pines grow new roots to cuttings? Or is it a dead end?

Unfortunately, not very well at all. You need ultra-fast draining soil, periodic mist, humidity control and rooting hormone. You can do air layers with many, but it can take up to 3 years.
Propagation is usually by seed, graft or (now) tissue culture for forest products. Regards, Matt

ok, thanx. I took one cutting yesterday... It would be cool if it would work...
I will propably be taking some acer cutting today.
