mugo pine
I was wondering how long mugo pine seedlings should remain in seed starting mix before they are transplanted into a more suitable bonsai mix. Should I wait until they are considerably hardened up?

I would say that if your chances of frost are past, put them in the ground and let them grow.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't know why I didn't think of that before, the answer seems so simple when someone else shows you the way. I think I'll wait a few more weeks. During June I think I'll put them in a half shade half sun spot at the end of my lot, that way they'll get the lumins, but not the harsh sun.
