MAple Cutting ? Time And Method ?
What is the best time to do maple cutting ?
I have an Amur maple, and right now it has alot of new 6inch shoot. Softwood shoot. Would this be a good time ? As for the method, I have a pretty good idea. I use 12x24 inch container with soil ( peatmoss/soil ). that way I can have a ~60 cutting capacity. Do cutting needs light ? If not ill just use the container lid, if yes, Ill put the container in a clear garbage bag to preserve humidity. But im affraid of heat (greenhouse effect) and burning the cutting?

Here's my Japanese Maple cuttings I did May 8th ,, the leaf buds were swelled ,, but not not leaved out when i did these.
