japanese black pine seeds.

alright, i am addicted to bonsai and i cant stop. iam wondering if i can start these jbp seeds i have now , mid - september, and grow them indoors until spring. is it too soon to start them? should i wait until spring?

Wait till spring. Put them in a bag and keep them in the fridge.

Agreed . . . you could even plant them into a growing medium in the dead of winter and place outside. They should sprout in spring.

You may wanna check out this thread posted a week or 2 ago. Some guy wanted to do the same thing and we mostly told him to wait til spring. You may can start them a month or so earlier than is safe to have them outside, but really no earlier as the growth indoors (plus the hassle involved in protecting them from damping off among other nasties) is not the kind of growth that you want.
