can i take cuttings now???
I have a yatsabusa elm which is starting to have some leaves pop out,i want to take some hard wood cuttings from branches about a 1/2" thick,can i take them now?or wait till april or May?,if i take them now im gonna keep them in the house under proper lighting,i really appreciate any help,im new at this.

You may have success now, but your best chances are waiting until they start a real growth spurt in a few weeks. The more growth on top the better
so they will have a need for roots. You can also help them out by placing a clear plastic bag over the top to stop the leaves from losing moisture, and/or misting regularly. |
