Posts: 60	Bald Cypress Propagation By Seed I collected some bald cypress seeds today and I want to try and get them to germinate. The only information I found says to soak the seeds in ethyl alcohol for 5 minutes then cold stratify for 3 months. What exactly is ethyl alcohol? Any other tips? __________________ -nathan

You may find it sold also as rubbing alcohol, but it is more common to see isopropyl alcohol sold for that purpose. High proof vodka would probably be a good substitute.
