Air Layering Juniper?
Ok I got an air layer going on a varigiated juniper. Its been there for about 3 weeks. my question is:
Should I keep it in full sun, partial sun or strictly in the shade? The foilage over the layer seems to be putting on new growth, about the same amount as the rest of the tree. Right now the tree gets about 2 hours of sun a day.

Don't keep it in the shade. As to how much sun - blistering heat is not helpful, but heat does promote root growth, to a point. Here in CA I would keep it in the sun but not when it gets over 100F or the little poly bag or nursery container will get much hotter, and might cook the developing roots.
