I would like to know if there is a better time to airlayer a plant... Since we have cold winter here, I think I should layer at spring or beginning of summer.
But I want to know what time is too early, and when it is too late... Should I do it before leaves appear... And not when trees are still frozen.. or.. humm well, tell me what I shouldn't do and what is very risky to do please. thanks, Max

I've had success with airlayering any time during the growing season, so long as it leaves time for roots to grow before the end of the season. You can start in the spring, after the last freeze and when the tree starts to open its buds.
Beginning of summer is also OK. pootsie |
