TOD for 15DEC2005
Here is the Tree of the Day for this week. It's a Ficus 'Too Little' that measures about 5.5 inches tall

If I may be so bold, this tree is too big for its britches. The trunk is overwhelmed by the rest of the tree. Also, the nebari seem uneven here.
The longterm fix IMHO is a LOOOng term fix to develop a unique and hefty trunk using one of the current branches. The short term would be something like this:  Not a great tree like this, but a nice little tree. pootsie |

Will the leaves on this little cutie reduce any more? I can see Pootsies point, but it would be largely solved if the leaves will reduce more. I like the branch structure that is very intricate considering the size.

The leaves can...and should...be reduced...
