Hello Will and All Forum Members,

To help along the competition, I will gladly donate this Banded Rectangle to the Prize pile. It is completely Hand-made and finished in a Red/Brown Glaze and measures roughly 10 inches x 8 inches x 3 inches. We will ship this to any part of the world so depending on the exact location of the relevant winner this could be worth around $100. Please allocate to the prize banding as you see fit in the near future.

Heres looking forward to a great competition !!

Meantime, best wishes to all.

Ian.

Very nice pot Ian, thank you.

To answer a email I recieved in public as promised...

I would not suggest live plants as a donated prize as this is a international forum and shipping to a winner in North Ireland would be expensive if not illegal, however your offer is appreaciated. Thank you.

Mike Konig (Mkonig)

Has generously donated a "Gift Voucher" good for a £15 purchase at Treebay.com. This is15 GB pounds not US$, so whatever the exchange rate is at the time, he will round it off the the next highest $.

Mike will forward the money to Treebay.com in the winners name. This gift will be added to the 1st, 2nd, or third place prize list in the near future. If Mike wins the place then he requests that the prize be moved down one place.

Thank you for the great prize donation Mike,

Will

Bonsai Barry has just donated a very nice prize!

He does some of the best bonsai sketches I have ever seen and he is offering one custom sketch for a prize in this contest.

Here's how this will work:

The winner simply sends a picture of one of their trees to Bonsai Barry and he will capture it in a beautiful sketch and he will also matte it and send the completed work of art back in approximately 5 weeks after receiving the picture. What a nice way to display one of your favorite trees!

here is an example of his work...

I just completed my PayPal transaction for the donations in the top three winners names. Although the judges haven't picked these winners yet, I wanted to be sure there was no delay in putting these donations into the winners names.

Good luck to all, may the best bonsai win.

The £15 ($28 if I remember rightly)I have promised to put towards a purchase from Treebay.com should also have arrived a while ago. Having had a good look through the selection of nice things available from Matt's shop, I am sure it will be put to good use.
