Chinese Elm II
This is one of my first chinese elms that I purchased way back when. It has been in a few different pots and had its back made into its front. I think we're finished trying new things though now. This is pretty much the way it will stay.

Amazing like always Thomas.
I have a chinese elm that looks somewhat similar to this (a lot younger and a lot further to go to be like that though.) Do you think you'll thicken up the patches? Always Inspiring--- -Evan

Thomas, if I was wearing a hat.. I'd take it off to you sir
![]() I agree with Evan, yet another nice tree indeed. I like the classic informal upright movement and style, with some very natural looking branch structuring. I always prefer seeing the "inner workings" of tree, as opposed to a carpet of foliage. The rosewood display table adds to the elegance of the whole composition, giving it a light and airy feel. The little suiseki stone is reminiscent of a mountain far off in the distance. Great work as per usual. Thank you for sharing. All the best, Aaron |

Aaron,
Thanks a lot for the very kind words. Evan, I wish there was technology that would allow us to show our photos in living 3-d instead of these flat looking things we post. As it looks now, it seems that each branch has a bunch of foliage in some spots, and maybe lacking in others, when actually you really can't see every branch, and really notice that the foliage is actually radiating all around the tree. I will be pretty much keeping everything the way it more or less looks right now, hopefully. ![]()
