New Words of Ancient Wisdom
Ancient Wisdom
The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones -Ancient Chinese Proverd New Words Perfection in bonsai is attained not by quick and hasty decisions, but in small and patient desicions. to shape your bonsai in the beauty you hold in your eyes, takes time, not skill. it takes patience, not talent. it takes understanding, not knowlegde. -Andrew Newton Ok so i know that theres going to be lots and lots of arguing BUT: its true, even a begginer can shape a beautiful bonsai, with time and patience, talent is something that you aquire along the way, you dont just have it. And if you know of a technique (new to you) and memorised everything about it and how to do it, you are knowlegeable, but you also have to understand how to do it. Heres a simpler version: Bonsai takes time and patience, you cant rely on skill and talent all on its own. -Andrew Newton |

There won't be any arguing, seems like you're on the right lines.
The most important thing is patience, it's always better to first learn how to maintain a tree before you learn about styling it
