Same with IT. 30 years ago I knew it all, 20 years ago I was a specialist in a specific field, 10 years ago I was a consultant in one area of my field, now I know hardly anything about the subject - by the time I get to retirement age I expect to know nothing at all.

Hi,
It is understandable. Let's say. After you obtained a degree, and you didn't want to learn deeply into that subject any more, you would think you know every thing in that subject. But if you continued learning, you would feel you had to learn more. Learning is never enough!!

learning

The day you stop learning is the day you go in a box.

Thanks, Mac.
