what about when you are bending a branch and you know you shouldn't give it that little bit more, and the damn thing breaks and stuffs the whole design yeah ya gotta hate that.

Somewhere I read an author citing his teacher on such matters: a mistake in pruning (or presumably bending and breaking) is like a bad haircut. It looks ugly for awhile, but with time it can be fixed.

But when you hold the watering can, you have the power of life and death in your hands.
