Good point! Craig Coussins said he used hunter green tape on the tree I have, but a year later, that tape is tan.

Bart,
I think I've seen all the above mentioned types ( names) of these products. I have a similar sample from my distributor in Europe, but, I just don't like the looks of them. We are used to the looks of raffia and, frankly, I kinda like it's looks! on a newly styled tree, ( yea, I like the looks of fresh wire too ) but this stuff....ycch.
Btw, plain old florist tape in brown or green also works pretty good. I've used it many times but you have to be careful stretching it because it will tear easier.
This reminds me of something I always chuckle about at conventions..
Just let some "Master" use a new tool or something and someone in the audience ask about it. If he mentions seeing them in the vending area people SCURRY to the vending area and they are all gone in a few moments. It's almost as funny as when you put a "Use this for...." sign on a new tool that people haven't seen but won't dare ask what it's for!

AS an example, Dale, wait till you see how many orders you get for your new "scoopy" line: The pot that has a built-in stand!

Bart,
The problem is.....
I don't WANT Mr. Scoopy orders!

It was bad enough with the "Erotic" ones!

Vet-Rap after 1 year

To get back on topic, here are two photos of the vet-rap applied by Craig Coussins a year ago on a shimpaku.

The original color was Hunter Green.

Good point, Dale.

I removed about an inch of the Vet-Rap. Came off easily.

Didn't do more because I do not want to dewire the tree quite yet.

Bark was slightly paler under the tape.
