Jim Smith's Bonsai - Durastone
This last week I took a trip down to Fl, as some of you know. I stopped at Durastone, Jim Smith's Bonsai Nursery. O my lord what a nursery, it was awesome. He has many of nursery, and 2 100x30 foot green houses. After making some purchases, Jim invited me to his home to see his personal collection. Jim is one of the nicest person's I have ever met. What a blast!! If you ever have the chance to get there do it!
Check out the pictures I took at the nursery. Further down will be some pics at his house! First one is a collected bald cypress, the pot measures 54 inches! Second one is Jim Smith and an assistant Carla measuring the pot. next is a random bonsai, cant remeber what kind of tree it is Fourth is a Bougainvillea forest Ficus of some sort (i didnt write all the species down sorry) Sixth is a buttonwood
