That looks like a steal. Appears to be a mid or late sixties model, no? First car I ever drove was my Dads 1964 bug. I loved that car. Nice find Frank! I'm awaiting your website too BTW.

It's a 66, it was a steal. I just went over to look at it to help them sell it and made the offer. He had restored it and couldn't get it to run and lost interest. All that was wrong was the starter. Of course I told my wife that I was going to turn around and sell it but it runs so good and the chance of finding a deal like this again is very slim, so I will drive it for awhile and then sell it. Of course I could sell the 63 that is at the body shop or the 65 notchback sitting in the garage, yeah right.

I'm going to turn you in to the thought police. Can't talk about no bugs here...... unless of course you can kill em with Malathion. Cheers, John

Hey FRANK!!!

How have you survived the rampant brush fires and our nasty drought? Man, it must be scary to run a nursery in Oklahoma right now!

How are those pinyon pines you collected doing? Some of these guys almost have me talked in to giving bald cypress a chance. I know you have some nice ones!

CK,
I know I'm showing my arse here, but I haven't seen very many that have proportional branches to trunk size, and I haven't seen many that don't end up in a brutal chop at the apex.

I always get the feeling I'd be contantly unsatisfied with it if I took one home. Kinda like how many women think they can "fix" the men they take home.

Ducking now.

There you go again, wanting that instant gratification. Good things take time and aren't you suppose to be learning patience?
