# vs $

I just won a Pitt Pott What a turn on! But there is one small problem, I could not figure how to enter the correct freight, it was set on the freight for England and I could not correct this, so I will need to go directly to Paypal and make a small additional payment. I have not noticed anyone else talking about this problem so it must be me, how can this be done?

Paul, just figure out the difference (or ask the seller) and then go to your paypal account, and go to "send money". The seller will already be listed as someone you sent money to before, and you can put any amount you want into the box. Paypal will ask you for the auction #, so have that ready.

I have spoke to bonsai talk's admin about this, It just needs paypal preferences changing to allow buyer to change shipping amount, I hope this will be possible soon.

Thanks for your purchase paul, pot will be posted tomorrow.

The programmers are on this but it might take them a while. In the meantime, you can go direct to your paypal account and click SEND MONEY. If you don't have a paypal account then John can REQUEST MONEY from his paypal account.

Either way you should be able to send an arbitrary amount (something different than the standard shipping amount) by that method.

Regards,

Matt

Thanks for clearing that up Matt.

I've added a section in my auction descriptions asking buyers to request a paypal invoice from me, before paying, stating which shipping option they want, this should make it easier for buyers to pay the correct amount without any trouble.

Regards.
John.

All

Yes, actually I was able to complete the payment before I made the post, using my paypal account. The post is just for information, and my way of requesting a modification of the system. Thanks Matt

I will add that it shouldn't be too difficult, as I have bought items on eBay from the U.K. with PayPal, and the currency exchange rate and shipping were automatically calculated. I don't have any details on the set-up though.
