CandyCane Trees for Auction?

I've been searching Ebay for some decent trees and am a little weary of spending alot of money on a tree I have'nt seen close-up, 'specially from someone I don't know. I know if I found one on BonsaiTalk from a member, it would more than likely be a good tree. I have not seen any posted in a long time, is it just not that time of year? Should I wait until Spring? I guess I'm just very new to Bonsai and I am Anxious to get a couple of nice trees.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

James

James,
It is because of the time of year. Many trees will die if they are shipped at this time of the year.

I will begin selling trees on ebay come this spring so that I can cut back my collection to around twenty of the best trees. Right now, not many people are buying the trees, and not many people are selling them because of the temperatures.

You can always shop on www.bonsaiAUCTIONS.com and buy from someone you do know. Be sure to fill out your user profile, and also let people know what you're looking for with a want ad.

Regards,

Matt
