Not really negative. Realistic maybe but not negative.
Sometimes the truth is stranger than .......
But as in all business transactions it all comes down to what the customer will pay. Heck my first wife paid several hundred dollars for a Kirby vacuum cleaner. Bless her heart she thought she got a great deal. As far as I know she is still happy with the purchase.

You can call him. George Muranaka, (805) 929-4818.
I used to visit his father, the plants grow in sand, he said he watered 6 hours a day, the growth was phenomenal, and no fertilizer so the pines had aged bark at a young age.

I second the motion for csnurs on eBay...they do an excellent job of packing their trees and definately stand behind their items...I had some trees damaged by a cold snap during shipping and there was no hesitation at all on their part to replace them....tell them ziojimi sent you...lol

You should also check out the "feedback" score on eBay...that will tell you something about the seller

My first Bonsai purchase was from csnursury, it was a Juniper, even though I made the mistake of keeping it indoors for about 2 weeks, I then realized from reading on this forum to keep it outdoors, I immediately moved it outdoors and it pretty much was all brown and dead about 3 weeks later. I made sure that I watered it correctly, not overwatering it, and made sure it had good drainage. Makes me think it might of already been pretty close to dying when purchased, as alot of people tell me that a juniper will stay green for a while even though it is dead. Then again I'm not taking away from the fact that I am a nivice!! And I very well could of killed it!! By the way, thanks for the great responses and sugesstions so far!!

The time indoors could have killed it, or at least sent it into a tailspin. And depending upon the temperature/humidity differences between where it was grown, then in the house, then in your yard.... plus the stress of shipping.... little trees aren't perhaps robust enough to survive all of that.

Don't worry, we all kill trees. You climb to the top of bonsai mastery over a pile of dead trees. You learn. Join a club if you can, that's an excellent way to learn about the best trees for your area. And keep reading here! We all feel your pain.

Shohinbonsaiguy has consistently the nicest trees on eBay Paul. And the best photography and display. That's why they always sell for hundreds. He starts them all at $1.00, with no reserve, and yet you call him a rip-off??
zube

P.S. No, I don't know him. I wish I did though.

What I meant was that most of his trees are a rip off, because of all of the crazy people out there willing to spend hundreds of dollars for the tree.
