Al, someone has stole your moniker and is selling crappy bonsai out of Buffalo NY! Look at the price this tree is selling for.

Ah well, that guy has 40 positive e-bay feedbacks that date back to Apr-04-00, his trees are decent by eBay standards, and our Al is bonsaial1, so I guess we'll have to let this imposter live for now
![]() If we can determine which one that is... Regards, Matt

YOU CAN NOT RUSH TIME

Al is safe. Anyone who has any knowledge of Al and his work, knows he a) isn't from Buffalo and b) never never would show a tree looking like this.
As for the ebay thing. It is amazing how much money some of these trees go for. If there was a way to reach the buyers and let them know that they can do better, much much better for less! To read the copy on the ebay trees...... "One of the best of my trees..." The best xxx tree I've seen..." "Finished speciman..." "Genuine Bonsai tree seeds" Need I go on! Actual, the more I see there, the more I am thinking of selling some trees. I already have an ebay rateing well over 100 and I would at least be honest with my descriptions....even if these were the trees I no longer wanted to invest time in!!

Ebay illusion
After seeing the ridiculous prices some trees were selling for I decided to post one of my own trees on Ebay just to see what would happen.I Did not really want to sell the tree but thought after seeing the prices other trees brought I would clean up.And you know what? not one solitary bid.Is this just some sort of giant scam?.Are people really buying these crappy trees for a fortune or is it a giant advertising scam?Well they got five bucks out of me so I guess it works!.

Wholly hole in a donut, Batman. I'm putting a bid in right now, just to get the roots. I could put those on my fishing line to hide my bait when I go bass fishing!!
Thanks for the laugh Tony, The one and only Bonsaial |

I have several misfits that I wouldn't mind letting go for $100 a pop. It's surprising what people will will spend good money on. Newbies must look at a tree like this and see the high prices and think this is what they should strive to create. Like P.T Barnum said there's a sucker born every minute. |
