Bonsai Today magazines-classic issues!

On our auction site, there are new Bonsai Today magazines up for bid. Right now, you can bid on #19 through #24. Included are issues dedicated to transplanting, root over rock, and forest styles... as well as insightful articles on many other aspects of bonsai care. These old issues are very useful for understanding how to grow and train bonsai. In some cases, they are selling for the original issue price!! Less than the price of a dinner out. So pull out a box of mac and cheese tonight, and buy an issue of Bonsai Today. Food for the bonsai mind.

The front page of the auction site is here.

Check back often, I still have about thirty-five issues to sell!

Joanie

Issue #22 has no bids, so if you want a classic issue of Bonsai Today at a very low price, here it is! For $8.00, plus $1.50 for media mail, you can have this issue that talks about forest plantings, rescuing bonsai, and so much more! Treat yourself.....

Here is the link.... only a few days left to bid on this and other fact-filled issues.

I wouldn't mind hearing from some of the folks that have picked up one (or more) of these magazines.

Regards,

Matt

I'm not sure why I hang onto mine. I've read them all over and over and enjoyed them so much. One of my favorite stories is of Kimura returning to visit his sensei Hamano-san after a long absence. A beautiful story of mutual respect and humility. But with BT and BE every other month, and the internet, enough already.

Hi Matt, Just saw your post for the first time. I have so far won Issues 7, 17, 19, 22 & 23. I haven't had time to read them all yet, but I am very pleased with the ones that I have read and consider my purchases to be a good investment in learning. I plan to bid on more issues as well. Many thanks to Joanie, the San Diego Bonsai Club and most importantly the donor for allowing us to bid on these issues, many of which are out of print.
