Outlaw--They don't have a season on squirell down in bush country? I'd love to put the hiatus on some of these purveyors of vermin around my place, but its just about flat illegal, unless you're certified, bonded and licensed. Not that I'd worry much about getting caught--or turned in for that matter--but I guess the law is the law.

Then on top of the squirells there's the urban rabbits, opossums, and raccoons.

Some people seem to think that humans are vile and barely have the right to exist, much less to groom their own habitat. Others seems to think that one should never have to suck it up and take a blow without striking back. How does one sort it out?

Recently there's been talk of fox sightings, right here in the inner city. Urban foxes: squirrels beware!

By-the-way, we have two very aggressive Jack Russells, and we also have squirrels galore. We quit putting out bird food years ago. I had literaly thousands of squirrel digs in my front lawn this year, because the neighbor's oak put out a bumper crop of acorns. Now a mild winter. I predict an infestation of squirrels this summer. There's far more squirrels than nature would support in the wild, and there's hardly anything we can do about it.

DR

I could honestly care less what the law states that I can or can not do on my own land or in my own house. I am gonna do it reguardless if I want to. There are too many stupid laws out there and the government telling me a can't spank my kids, kill my squirrels, or drink beer in my yard is absurd....It is my duty to break an unjust law. It's always hunting season when my property, culture, family, or way of life is threatened.

Sounds to me like your kids are the threatened ones.

Well, actually I don't have any kids, but I was thinking about having some just so I could "woop em"

I might even make a how to video as it seems there are so many that need to be wooped now a days.

Then I'll teach them how to kill tree rats so all I have to do is cook 'em. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

YouTube would be the place then for any video's - not here on a Bonsai site.

Better still.......I'll close this thread as it is going no-where anyway!

Cheers,
Ian.
