Ransom Demand

Local bonsai artist Ron Martin
is being held for ransom.
Send me a 5 lbs. chuck roast
or else.
His fate is up to you
I mean business
My leg is cocked and waiting to shoot
Fire hydrant or Ron
Makes no difference to me
Take your pick

Terrible Terry
Bandit dog

Terry,

It will take us some time to put that kind of ransom together. I'm not sure you can hold it that long. Besides, how do we know Ron is still dry? We'll need to see some proof before we turn over the meat. In the meantime, how about a show of good faith? You release Ron's trees, and we'll send in a hotdog and a beer.

(Vic, you are weird....)

I am voting for the conservative approach... that usually works well in these situations!

Terrible Terry.... Hand over the trees!

We'll get to you eventually Ron... There is a boxwood in your garden with my name on it... lol

Such a friend am I...

Yours always,

Doesn't matter, Ian, we can picture you sitting at your computer, like a skeleton. You could spare a leg bone, or maybe a rib, for Ron, right?

Terrible Terry, will you take a box of dog biscuits instead? They're better for your teeth. And terriers always need strong teeth.

That's true. Roast it is, then. Although my dog likes lamb better. How about a leg of lamb, Terrible?

And please don't chew on the trees while you are waiting for the meat to come. Chew on Ron, he will heal faster.
