This magazine's not "Bonsai!"

I saw the following poor review for BONSAI magazine. Evidently the buyer was disappointed to find that it wasn't miniature

A mistake. January 8, 2006

I thought the title reflected the actual size of the magazine, so I was saddened when it arrived. I'd built a tiny coffee table for the sole purpose of displaying my new magazine, but it collapsed under the load of the blow-in subscription cards.
My life is less glorious as a result.

Classic. So well done that one could almost believe it to be a sincere revue.

It isn't.....is it?

what is the best bonsai magazine?

... Here are a few I've found and I'm trying to decide which I should subscribe to:
BONSAI magazine
Bonsai Focus (used to be bonsai today)
International Bonsai

Anyone care to share their opinion?

Thanks!

Steve

I have about the first ten or twelve years of International Bonsai and find that it's an incredible resource. I will soon be contacting Bill Valavanis to try to complete the collection and subscribe going forward.

Great - thanks you two! I've signed up for a Bonsai Focus subscription and ordered the 2006 issues to tide me over since it's bi-monthly.

thanks again,
Steve
