Huh? Crossing Pines Species


Is it possible that if you cross a Japanese Black Pine with a Japanese White Pine that you will end up with a Ying-Yang Pine?

That will get you the elusive grey pine, which has not yet been realized because when it sets seeds they dont' seem to want to germinate

I don't think it is possible, it kind of falls into the realm of Human Chimpanzee hybrids. something like 98% of our genetic material is identical it is that 2% that makes this impossible. I would think that the same would be true of any two needle pine crossed with a five needle pine.
