this isnt a movie, but i saw a little shohin juniper in a magazine advertising a desk (bonsai was on top)

There were a few in Blade Runner and if we're naming video games too then there were also some in 007: Nightfire

Dr Who and the Seeds of Doom (Bonsai reference)
Dunbar introduces himself as from the World Ecology Bureau, to which Harrison replies:
"And what is your bureau doing about bonsai?" "Bonsai, Mr Chase?" "Mutilation and torture, Mr Dunbar. The hideous, grotesque Japanese practice of miniaturizing shrubs and trees. What is your bureau doing about that?" Harrison Chase to Dunbar, in "The Seeds of Doom" P.S. It ends well, Chase ends up as fertiliser for his own garden. cheers, spooky

Bonsai Boldly Go....
I've seen several bonsai in some of the Star Trek series, particularly The Next Generation and Voyager, seen in crew quarters.
